Programme Overview
Candidates interested in the Installers Apprentice Programme are required to sit for a recruitment and personality test and upon passing the tests they would be enrolled for the Programme. The successful candidates will have to go through a 6 months programme where the syllabus encompasses theoretical and practical modules facilitated by qualified training instructors. The programme provides the opportunity to the apprentices to have diverse training supported by our vendors in the field of equipments, appurtenance, common use of related instruments and tools, as well as the basic skills of wiring, electrical and plumbing. Thus, the Installers Apprentice Programme is not limited to acquiring skill in kitchen installation but inclusive of a wide exposure in other technical areas to home improvement activities.
The Apprentices are given the opportunity to gain real working experiences at site where each apprentice is given opportunity to learn from the qualified professional installers at actual site. In order to graduate from this Programme, the Apprentices are required to pass all the monthly tests during this 6 months Programme. On the monthly test, they are stringently evaluated for different aspects from technical to soft skills including the attributes on attendance, quality of work, efficiency, responsibility, reliability, initiative, adaptability, team work, mannerism, discipline, good understanding skills, observation on safety, punctuality and adherence to policies and procedures.
