GU, JINCHENG was appointed to the Board of Signature International Berhad as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on 18 May 2020.
He graduated in 1991 from Jiangsu Vocational College of Electronics and Information, China, majoring in Business/Commerce/Management. He also holds a Diploma in Regional Economics from CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee Party School, China in 2009.
He held various positions in committees, associations and government sectors in Yanghe, Gaodu and Siyang, China from 1991 to 2014 before joining Fujian Haocaitou Food Co., Ltd. as Vice Chairman. In January 2015, he was attached to Beijing Beiyi Hongye Management Co., Ltd. as General Manager, subsequently joining Jiangsu Chaoju Investment Management Co., Ltd. as General Manager. Presently, he is the Chairman of Detao (Beijing) Investment Co., Ltd. and a Director of Xiamen Jianpan Group Co., Ltd., the ultimate holding company of JPND Singapore Pte. Ltd., a substantial shareholder of the Company.
He has extensive experience and expertise in business management. He was also one of the main planners of the Siyang Green Home Industrial Park and Jianpan Detao Science and Technology Park projects.
