Go Green Approach (2018)

Signature continued its Go Green initiatives under its newly formed committee – the Eco Warriors, who are set to raise ecological consciousness, encourage and promote a “Go Green” lifestyle besides encouraging more green practices into the office in order to help reduce waste, conserve natural resources, improve both air and water quality, and protect ecosystems and biodiversity.
Some of the initiatives in the year under review are as follows:
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (3R) Workshop
In partnership with Community Recycle for Charity (CRC), a special workshop was held to educate Signature staff on the importance of the 3R’s – reduce, reuse, recycle. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]The entire amount received from the sale of donated items is used to fulfill the wish list of the Charity homes and school projects. Some of the clothes (especially store-rejects) donated by companies and individuals are given away freely to those in need.
Recycling Drive
Following the 3R workshop, a recycling drive was help to get all Signature staff to work together to help the environment as well as the community. Items which were recycled included paper, boxes, glass, plastic and more while items donated consisted of books, clothings, toys and more.
